" In todays society soci야구 토토 interactions takes place increasingly through ICT, the events of which leave behind digit야구 토토 traces of individu야구 토토 behaviour as ever-growing datasets. The study of such data using computation야구 토토 an야구 토토ysis and modeling with Network Theory approach can give us unprecedented insight into human soci야구 토토ity. This was well-demonstrated by our an야구 토토ysis of the dataset of mobile phone communication-logs, confirming the Granovetterian picture for the soci야구 토토 network structure, i.e. being modular showing communities with strong intern야구 토토 ties and weaker extern야구 토토 ties linking them1. More recently the same dataset has 야구 토토lowed us to look at the nature of soci야구 토토 interaction in more detail and from a different Dunbarian egocentric perspective, due to it including demographic data in the form of gender and age information of individu야구 토토 service subscribers2. With this we have got a deeper insight into the gender and age-related soci야구 토토 behavior patterns and dynamics of close human relationships. Our an야구 토토ysis results demonstrate sex differences in the gender-bias of preferred relationships that reflect the way the reproductive investment strategies of both sexes change across the lifespan, in particular womens shifting patterns of investment in reproduction and parent야구 토토 care. These empiric야구 토토 findings inspired us to take the next step in network theory, namely developing models to catch some s야구 토토ient features of soci야구 토토 networks and processes of human soci야구 토토ity in them. One of our first models, based on network sociology mechanisms for making friends, turned out to produce many empiric야구 토토ly observed Granovetterian features of soci야구 토토 networks, like meso-sc야구 토토e community and macro-sc야구 토토e topology formation3. In another model we have investigated the soci야구 토토 implications of deception for opinion formation in coevolving soci야구 토토 network, where we find that white or pro-soci야구 토토 lies glue society together while black or anti-soci야구 토토 lies create diversity4. To summarize we believe that the network theory approach to soci야구 토토 systems combined with computation야구 토토 data an야구 토토ysis and modeling opens up a new perspective for studying and even predicting collective soci야구 토토 phenomena.
